Here is the Bible passage for this week:

And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil (1 Peter 3:13-17).

As an aside, this week Youtube has not let me publish any edits to this video…that means all the Bible verses I entered as annotations are missing.  Sorry!  Not sure what went wrong, but oh well – it’s a free service, so I guess I can’t complain.  🙂

In this passage, the key verse (that I did not specifically discuss  in the video) was “always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you.”  What we discussed in the video was operating with integrity in order to bring God glory…I guess that is the best way to give a defense for the hope that is within…
