I have been writing about The Family Workshop lately. I am writing a book about the same topic. I find that writing book chapters and blogging are entirely different and it has been hard for me to distill the ideas into the more concise format needed for posts. I usually have trouble being concise (my husband would totally agree with that!); but it has been doubly difficult in this area. So I am praying about how to share this useful and hopeful message here as well as learning how to budget my time to fit in some more writing.
I hope you are looking ahead as well. Endings and beginnings always give us a chance to re-group and re-boot. Our God is the Maker of new beginnings. The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness (Lam 3:22-23). I would love to hear where you are re-grouping, what you are re-booting…are you thinking of heading in a new direction? Keep in mind this promise: The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps (Prov 16:9). This is an admonishment, if we forget His authority over us; but it is a comfort to us, when we seek His will!
