In 2016, my One Word for the year is HOPE. I have found that we need to take some hope notes when life just feels hard. If things look bleak, we need to stop and remember that Jesus is always at work, bringing His plans for us to completion. Knowing that, we can to learn to find God’s Best in the middle of the mess. Keeping hope alive can be hard, sometimes it is just easier to get discouraged. But that is because we can forget this Truth: I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ (Phil 1:6, ESV).
This year I will be making some hope notes, finding bits of truth hidden in the dust, and I plan to share them with you. I have already started a list of observations and scriptures. My hope notes will be like a scrapbook of truth, and I know this will be a powerful way to proclaim what God has done, is doing, and will do for me, and for you. The scripture above is just the beginning!
Another part of my One Word: Hope will take us to other websites, to Pinterest, and to Instagram. This is the first year for the Meet Me in the Middle Project. I am calling it a Lenten Curation. We will be collecting and organizing Before & After images and giving them new life. We will put the Before & After pictures together in one collage image and explain how the change demonstrated points to God, at work in the middle. We will share the gospel—that Jesus is the redeeming force that works all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Every before & after points to the greatest Before & After: Easter.
You can read more about this Lenten Curation at my new website, Meet Me in the Middle Project. The neat part is that this project isn’t just for bloggers, it’s for YOU too. If you are already on Instagram or Pinterest, you can be a part of spreading this message of HOPE!
Please visit the website and SIGN UP for the updates so you won’t miss a single thing. We start February 10, but you will need to get started before that. I know this project will be fun and easy—I *hope* you will join me! See how I did that? 😉

Hope is what keeps us going when life gets hard. The hope and trust that Christ is by our side always.
God bless.
