What Does Abundant Look Like?

31 Days to a More Abundant Life

Abundant: having plenty of something. America is a land of abundance. We have plenty of water, plenty of food, and plenty of clothing. Our wealth is, in many ways, gluttonous. We have more than we need, but it is never enough. Instead we might wonder, why does the Lord give so much, to so ...

How Can You Learn to Love Your Life?

31 Days to a More Abundant Life

Our little family had military moves/deployments/separations, broken relationships along with family drama, and a dose of chronic ...

A Life Worth Writing About

31 Days to a More Abundant Life

Inseparable: Lesson 5

Inseparable

I see a very different principle at work in my bodily members, and it is at war with my mind; I have become a prisoner in this war to the rule of sin in my body. I am absolutely miserable! Is there anyone who can free me from this body where sin and death reign so supremely? I am ...

Growth Mindset

Wholeness

Prodigal

Laura drove an Audi with leather seats. They were the first leather seats I had ever encountered. Laura wore all the right labels. She was everything that I was not.  I was awkward, middle class, and self-conscious about how I looked in shorts. Note to my 10th-grade self, this is the best your legs ...

We are so thankful for this young man. ❤️ We are so thankful for this young man. ❤️
When the first day of school is also the day your When the first day of school is also the day your firstborn drives herself to college, it’s a lot. We moved her stuff into her dorm last week. Today she got up early to say goodbye to Dad (too early! Not pictured 😂), her brother, her doggo, her piano, and her momma. Before she left, she made blueberry scones to share with her little bro @sjoshlafont —they homeschool and relocated together, went to @westminsteroakmtn together, and have shared a love of music, Legos, superheroes (and villains), Transformers, and so much more. She played my favorite song. She even made banana bread to bring to her new roomie. @graciethenerd You are my little nut brown hare, and I love you to the moon and back. Auburn University is a better place because you are there! ❤️

Also, so grateful for the wonderful school where she spent the last four years—the perfect place to land after years of homeschooling on the move. “For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” (Ps 100:5) #curatingthegood #graduated🎓 #wisebeyondheryears @graciethenerd @lafonte04 @westminsteroakmtn
