Family Wisdom. Proverbs 3:21-22

Family Wisdom

My son, do not lose sight of these  keep sound wisdom and discretion, and they will be life for your soul and adornment for your neck (Prov 3:21-22). There are so many admonitions to "keep Wisdom" in Proverbs.  No wonder!  The way of Wisdom is the way of God.  As I have mentioned before, ...

Memory Verse Monday

Family Wisdom. Proverbs 3:19-20

Family Wisdom

The LORD by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens; by His knowledge the deeps broke open, and the clouds drop down the dew (Prov. 3:19-20). Sometimes the day to day trials of life can wear me down.  I am grieving about a loved one whose body has turned against ...

Memory Verse Monday

And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father (Col 3:17, NLT). True confession: This week I have been stumbling over, and failing at, the goal in this verse.  At home, my words have not pointed to Him so much, as to me, and my ...

Favorite Books: Bible Resources!

The Family Workshop

I wanted to share more about some of the books I love.  These books are what I would call reference books, most are resource books that aid in the study of the Word.  I usually go first to great online resources, which I posted about recently.  But sometimes it is nice to hold the book in your hands ...

When the first day of school is also the day your When the first day of school is also the day your firstborn drives herself to college, it’s a lot. We moved her stuff into her dorm last week. Today she got up early to say goodbye to Dad (too early! Not pictured 😂), her brother, her doggo, her piano, and her momma. Before she left, she made blueberry scones to share with her little bro @sjoshlafont —they homeschool and relocated together, went to @westminsteroakmtn together, and have shared a love of music, Legos, superheroes (and villains), Transformers, and so much more. She played my favorite song. She even made banana bread to bring to her new roomie. @graciethenerd You are my little nut brown hare, and I love you to the moon and back. Auburn University is a better place because you are there! ❤️

Also, so grateful for the wonderful school where she spent the last four years—the perfect place to land after years of homeschooling on the move. “For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” (Ps 100:5) #curatingthegood #graduated🎓 #wisebeyondheryears @graciethenerd @lafonte04 @westminsteroakmtn
