Last week we memorized The Shema, which commands us to love God, Our Father.  This week we learn about the Father’s love for us.  We cannot out-love Him.  He created us, He watches over us, He guides us, and He saves us.  And undergirding all that He does for us, is His unchanging love.

Did you ever wake up feeling empty?  Getting out of bed today and yesterday has been a bit of a struggle.  I’ve been up the past two nights with a sick child, so I am starting my week a little weary.  But I am hiding this Word in my heart.  I am holding onto the Truth of God’s great love and it turns my mind around, so I can walk in the right direction.  I am reminded that who I am, in Him, is greater than the way I feel today.  I am part of something big and wonderful and eternal.  I am loved by the Creator of the Universe.  This knowledge is too wonderful for me!
