These recipes for Pizza are new takes on the traditional pie. They would be fun for a Friday family night this summer! I have included some easy and fun desserts too. Now this is my kind of party. 🙂
Pizza Swirl Bread from Faith Filled Food for Moms is so pretty, it looks like something you would get at a restaurant. Serve it with marinara sauce and enjoy! You will have to plan ahead though, this recipe is relatively simple, but takes TWO rises of the dough.
If you want “Pizza” with more protein, try Pizza Burgers by The Gracious Wife. These look scrumptious and there’s no waiting for dough to rise!
As Enchanted Homeschooling Mom says, bacon makes everything better! When she created Bacon Chicken Ranch Pizza, she built the recipe starting with bacon.
Here are some fun and easy desserts to compliment your pizza!
Nana’s Ice Cream has just three ingredients and can be made the day before. Spoons of Grace got this recipe from—you guessed it—her Nana, and it is definitely a keeper.
My kids kept looking over my shoulder at computer to see Snickerdoodle Ice Cream Sandwiches by The Gracious Wife. These are so cheerful and festive. They are easy and, since they must be made ahead, they are an easy dessert to add to any gathering.
Mickey Mouse Cupcakes by Forgetful Momma are just plain fun. She made these for her daughter’s birthday party and I can’t get over how cute they are! She cautions us to put the Oreo cookie “Mickey” on just before serving, to keep the cookies crunchy.
