Costco’s, YOU are to blame for my latest diet downfall! On our last visit (and maybe the one before that too), we *somehow* bought a ginormous bag of Hershey’s Nuggets. Mmmmm! Those little suckers are bite-sized treasures of chocolaty goodness. But at 50 calories apiece, it isn’t too long before I inhale hundreds of calories! If I could just stop at one…
What’s a girl to do??
After dinner on some nights, when I make good choices, I eat a cup of frozen berries instead of chocolate. Frozen berries are a bit like sorbet, but without the sugar!
It’s funny. I grew up thinking that chocolate was this great reward, but often it stands between me and my weight loss goals. I have been stuck carrying an extra ten pounds for over a year…though maybe it isn’t technically “extra” anymore, now that it seems to be my new normal. But it is only TEN pounds, for goodness sake!
It’s really just the little things. Like little nuggets. And adding chips to my otherwise healthy taco salad. And going a little over on my portion sizes at each meal. But little things mean a lot!
So, here’s to making smart choices, even on the weekend! How about you—do you have any diet weaknesses? Does Costco get you in trouble? Tell me I’m not the only one!

I totally understand your plight! I cant even keep chips in the house. I tend to eat like half the bag. Ive been using herbalife though since the begining of june and have lost 4 inches! Feel better too! Oh yeah and they have great chocolate options too! Delicious!!

My poor kiddos! I never bake anything because I don’t trust myself…my goal is to get my eating habits back on track so I CAN bake and have a reasonable portion. Gluttony. Pure and simple. Well…not so pure and not so simple, but it is what it is!
