On those days when your walk feels more like a crawl,
remember that faith in Jesus means jumping in with both feet.
“Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? …For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men” (1 Cor 1:20-25).
We get fooled. We look ahead and see a mirage. We get sidetracked. We wonder if we took the wrong turn. We feel…lost.
But what we forget is that we cannot get lost when we are one with The Way. Jesus is bringing us along, whether we feel it or not.
In a life dedicated to Jesus Christ,
He is working to produce results in us,
even if we don’t see them right away…
This walk with Christ begins with that first move forward. Often, we look back and realize that, at the times we could not see Him working in us, His plan was being accomplished.
The official said to him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.”
Jesus said to him, “Go; your son will live.”
The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and went on his way. As he was going down, his servants met him and told him that his son was recovering. So he asked them the hour when he began to get better, and they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.”
The father knew that was the hour when Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.” And he himself believed, and all his household.(John 4:49-54).
