I can’t believe it y’all  I almost forgot!  TODAY is the If the Shoe Fits Buy It event.  The best excuse ever to buy a pair of shoes.  This event is the way my sweet friend Mindy celebrates the life of her mother.  She recognizes each year, what she calls her mom’s “home going day”, which was January 25.  

Mindy’s mom had a difficult battle with ALS. This disease changed the course of her family and it broke Mindy’s heart a bit.  But Mindy sees how God’s Grace can cover all of it and, somehow produce beauty from the ashes.  She wrote this is moving post just before her mom passed on to be with the Lord.  It is a must read…with tissues on hand.  After reading about it, you will see why Mindy created this fun way to remember her mama.
