Pray for Your Husband

The Family Workshop

10898055_654255741349996_9158062370620941794_n

My friend Erika Dawson just released her book Pray Truth: Praying God’s Word for My Husband’s Heart—I love this! It is chock full of scripture with short, heart-focused prayers written so you can personalize them for you and your husband.  Erika has invited readers to join her—reading, and praying, together!

From Erika’s blog:

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CHALLENGE
Order Pray Truth: Praying God’s Word for My Husband’s Heart today and spend some time this week reading through the pages preceding the 31 days of prayer. We will begin praying together next Monday, January 12.

Like {Erika’s} Facebook page and/or follow {her} on Instagram or twitter. {Erika} will be posting daily prayer encouragement there {not on her blog}.

Invite a friend or two to join us! Call her on the phone, share this post, or tag a few friends on Facebook!

Start praying with us next Monday!

The challenge will run from January 12 – February 11, ending just before Valentine’s Day. An added bonus is that our focused time of prayer will also be softening our hearts and preparing us to kick off a unique marriage challenge that same week! Hurrah!

I’m in!  How about you?

When the first day of school is also the day your When the first day of school is also the day your firstborn drives herself to college, it’s a lot. We moved her stuff into her dorm last week. Today she got up early to say goodbye to Dad (too early! Not pictured 😂), her brother, her doggo, her piano, and her momma. Before she left, she made blueberry scones to share with her little bro @sjoshlafont —they homeschool and relocated together, went to @westminsteroakmtn together, and have shared a love of music, Legos, superheroes (and villains), Transformers, and so much more. She played my favorite song. She even made banana bread to bring to her new roomie. @graciethenerd You are my little nut brown hare, and I love you to the moon and back. Auburn University is a better place because you are there! ❤️

Also, so grateful for the wonderful school where she spent the last four years—the perfect place to land after years of homeschooling on the move. “For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.” (Ps 100:5) #curatingthegood #graduated🎓 #wisebeyondheryears @graciethenerd @lafonte04 @westminsteroakmtn
