Sweets for Spring at Family Fun Fridays

Celebrate with Food!

Sweets for Spring

The only trouble with Little Miss Celebration’s Brown Sugar Pecan Popcorn is I might eat it all and leave none for my kiddos! My mouth is already watering…

Culinary Flavors tells such a cute story about the apples in her Super Flaky Apple Pie…be sure to visit her website and read it!  I love how she has put all the step-by-step photos in a collage to make it easier to see the progress. And Apple Pie must be flaky, right?

Happy Birthday, Annie’s Noms!  I love that Mr. Annie’s Noms is the baker this week, whipping up a Lemon Meringue Cake in honor of his birthday girl!

Carrot Cream Cheesecake.  Pure genius going on at Love Laurie this week—what a natural pairing! This recipe looks rich and moist and I would love a piece with some nice strong coffee…yum!

Lou Lou Girls love the surprised looks that come when party guests bite into Cream Filled Cupcakes. These are such fancy looking little jewels.  and the recipe for the cream filling sounds like what you get in a cream puff…I LOVE the sound of that!

No-bake Cake Batter Oreo Cheesecake Dessert? Yes, please, Kleinworth & Co.  It looks crazy delish and takes less than 10 minutes to prepare…that is just plain awesome.

You’re welcome! There is something else I wanted to tell you: I love that your recipes are bilingual! And Katerina – the little measurement conversion widget in your sidebar is so helpful!! In helping to host this linky party I have run across several recipes from outside the U.S., and they are given in Celsius and use grams and such…but that makes it hard for U.S. readers who might want to make it themselves but aren’t used to those kinds of directions. I just wanted to tell you that I really appreciate your efforts to reach more people with your website 🙂

Today she got up early to say goodbye to Dad (too early! Not pictured 😂), her brother, her doggo, her piano, and her momma. Before she left, she made blueberry scones to share with her little bro @sjoshlafont —they homeschool and relocated together, went to @westminsteroakmtn together, and have shared a love of music, Legos, superheroes (and villains), Transformers, and so much more. She played my favorite song. She even made banana bread to bring to her new roomie. @graciethenerd You are my little nut brown hare, and I love you to the moon and back.
